Camden County Prosecutor Mary Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a Cherry Hill man pleaded guilty Friday in a 2012 double shooting in Camden.
Arnaldo A. Medina, M/30, pleaded guilty to Aggravated Manslaughter in the death of Antonio Streater, M/29, of Camden, and Attempted Murder for the shooting of Streater’s older brother on April 7, 2012, in the area of 8th and York streets in Camden.
Medina, who was identified as friend of the Streater family for 20 years, was in a moving vehicle with the brothers when he opened fire on them during an argument. Streater was shot five times in the face, arms and trunk. His brother was shot in the face.
The vehicle then crashed into a building and as Streater’s brother tried to get out Medina appeared to attempt to shoot again, but was believed to have been out of bullets.
Under the terms of the plea, Medina faces an aggregate sentence of 30 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for December 18 before Superior Court Judge Samuel D. Natal.
